Public Transport in Ghent

Tram/streetcar

From Gent Sint Pieters train station choose line nr. 4, 21 or 22. Stop closest to Dunant: Martelaarslaan (Supermarket Delhaize), name of the stop: "Bernard Spaelaan". Then walk for 5 minutes.
  • Line 4 stops right in front of the train station and goes in one direction only.
  • Line 21/22 stops in the street right to the train station, be sure to take direction "Melle Leeuw" or "Gentbrugge D.C."
There is a tram every approx. every 5 minutes.

Bus

From Gent Sint Pieters train station take bus 9 to "beneluxplein". When you get out, you are exactly at the main entrance of dunant 2.

From Gent Sint Pieters train station you can also take bus 14/15 or 65/67/69 to stop "einde were". The red building you see when you get out at "einde were" is Dunant 2, the main entrance is on the other side.

Tickets

For both tram and bus, make sure to buy your tickets in the train station or outside at the automats (requires coins). On the bus or tram, it will cost you about 50% extra.
